Quality Engineer in Customer Complaint Handling (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Lead customer complaint-handling processes and maintain timely reporting.
• Identify root causes for complex issues and coordinate containment and corrective actions.
• Review, discuss, and approve 8D reports with root-cause organizations.
• Explain technical details and corrective actions to customers and participate in crisis teams and risk assessments.
• Support product alerts and recalls, complaint-statistics reporting, and company-wide quality improvements.
• Act as a key user for quality IT tools and cooperate with local and international quality laboratories.

Requirements

• PhD or master's degree in electrical engineering or physics.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position preferred.
• Knowledge of semiconductor assembly processes and semiconductor applications, preferably discrete devices.
• Knowledge of quality and problem-solving tools, including 8D reports, 3x5 Why analysis, and FMEA.
• Knowledge of standard software tools, problem-solving techniques, and statistical data analysis.
• Very good spoken and written English, confident customer communication, strong presentation skills, teamwork, and willingness to travel.
