Manager Middleware Platform (Boomi)

Location: Toronto office; 100% remote office schedule is available. Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Salary: CAD 164,000–182,000 annual base salary, plus a discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of middleware specialists while managing capacity, priorities, performance, and development.
• Coordinate delivery and operational support for integration and API solutions across business units and client environments.
• Own the lifecycle of data exchange and communication platforms, including upgrades, patching, capacity planning, performance optimization, and documentation.
• Lead integration and API governance, including API versioning, documentation, usage reporting, and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Partner with Architecture, Security, Data Privacy, Compliance, Infrastructure, application teams, business units, product teams, clients, and vendors.
• Manage enterprise risk and audit requirements, addressing identified gaps and maintaining zero high-risk findings.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with integration technologies and 3+ years of people management experience.
• 3+ years in an iPaaS, ETL, or ESB environment, such as Boomi or Solace.
• Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, event-driven architecture, API management, and integration governance.
• Experience with platform lifecycle management, shared-service delivery, vendor relationships, and technical standards.
• Current work authorization for Canada is required.
