Head of Airframe Transverse Integration (Aerospace)

Location: Mirabel, Quebec, Canada, in the greater Montreal area; hybrid working policy

What you will do

• Lead a multidisciplinary airframe engineering team of experts and Program Domain Leaders.
• Maintain and develop technical expertise across airframe design, stress, materials, and processes.
• Align local and remote teams with A220 programme objectives, budgets, priorities, and operational plans.
• Drive strategic initiatives including cost and weight reduction, ramp-up, and continuous improvement.
• Manage technical resolutions, risks, opportunities, escalations, budgets, schedules, and aircraft-level trade-offs.
• Coach employees, conduct performance assessments, and influence leadership and internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• University degree in engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and French is required.
• Strong interpersonal, planning, organizational, leadership, and engineering judgment skills.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary, diverse, and multicultural teams.
• Ability to deploy continuous improvement initiatives and manage complex priorities under pressure.
