TL;DR
Senior Penetration Tester (Fintech): Performing proactive security assessments and vulnerability research for a high-scale financial platform with an accent on AI-assisted testing and offensive security. Focus on auditing Go/Python services, securing AI/ML systems, and mitigating complex threats in cryptocurrency and blockchain infrastructure.
Location: Must be based in Bellevue, WA with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. This position is restricted to US citizens or lawful permanent residents.
Salary: $187,000–$220,000 USD (Zone 1)

What you will do
- Perform application security assessments, code reviews, and manual penetration testing of web services and infrastructure.
- Build and operate AI-assisted tools to increase testing throughput and coverage.
- Conduct threat modeling for high-impact systems and articulate security risks related to business logic and fraud.
- Collaborate with engineers to mitigate vulnerabilities and contribute detection strategies or direct code fixes.
- Research emerging threats and attack techniques to evolve offensive and defensive capabilities.
- Advocate for security and privacy across engineering and product development teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in penetration testing, application security, or security engineering.
- US citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required.
- Proficiency in auditing and exploiting Go and Python services.
- Experience targeting AI/ML systems and familiarity with cryptocurrency/blockchain security.
- Hands-on experience testing cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong grasp of application security principles and network protocols.
