Salary: $108,000–$205,000 USD

What you will do

• Investigate and respond to security tickets and alerts, gathering context and collaborating with engineering teams.
• Partner with product, platform, and infrastructure teams to understand security findings and implement secure configurations across AWS/GCP and Kubernetes.
• Utilize core security tools like Wiz, CrowdStrike, and Okta to protect critical product cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for security incidents and critical security tooling issues.
• Contribute to security reviews for new services and major infrastructure changes, identifying misconfigurations and recommending mitigations.
• Learn to read and make small, well-reviewed changes to Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and Kubernetes configurations.
• Collaborate with partners across Security, IT, Platform Engineering, Legal, Risk, and Investigations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in security operations, security engineering, or a closely related infrastructure or cloud role.
• Hands-on experience with at least one security tool used in modern cloud or product environments (e.g., Wiz, Orca, CrowdStrike).
• Scripting experience in Python or Go to automate repetitive tasks or build small utilities.
• Prior participation in an on-call rotation for production systems or security incidents.
• Experience working with tickets, incidents, or production issues, following a structured process.
• Strong communication skills to explain issues and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• A learning mindset and growth orientation.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and Kubernetes concepts.
• Experience contributing to a Vulnerability Management Program.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (SOC 2, NIST) or regulated environments.
• Interest in or exposure to crypto infrastructure, blockchain, and AI.
