What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical contact for external customers using secure HPC and silicon design platforms.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Linux-based infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and identity services.
• Operate and support OpenStack and OpenShift/Kubernetes environments to ensure high availability.
• Monitor HPC cluster performance, job scheduling, and license utilization to resolve bottlenecks.
• Develop automation using Python or shell scripting to streamline operational tasks and reduce MTTR.
• Ensure compliance with security procedures for ITAR-controlled and CUI data.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience operating and supporting OpenStack or OpenShift (Kubernetes) environments.
• Experience supporting HPC or large-scale compute environments.
• Proficiency in Python, shell scripting, or Perl.
• Must be a U.S. Person or eligible to support export-controlled (ITAR/CUI) environments.
• Ability to work onsite in San Jose.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting EDA, semiconductor, or silicon design environments.
• Background in infrastructure operations, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Terraform.
• Experience applying AI-assisted automation in production operations.
