Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Madrid, Spain (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Design and implement software lifecycle architecture using Kubernetes, IaC, and CI/CD tools.
• Collaborate with QA teams to integrate automated quality gates into delivery pipelines.
• Build and maintain scalable, high-performance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Automate complex operational tasks to improve developer productivity and system efficiency.
• Manage cloud-native environments utilizing container orchestration and serverless patterns.
• Mentor junior engineers and act as a technical subject matter expert to resolve complex issues.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Team Lead.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Solid experience with cloud-native architectures, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and serverless patterns.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Crossplane.
• Proven track record in building and managing CI/CD pipelines at scale.
• Strong developer culture with experience in distributed systems and RESTful APIs.

Nice to have

• Experience with security tools like SonarQube, Trivy, or OWASP.
• Familiarity with Argo CD and Helm for Kubernetes management.
• Experience with Azure Functions or Google Cloud App Engine.
