Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer (GCP/AI): Owns the platform and release-engineering systems that build, test, integrate, and release software across a multi-repository environment with an accent on CI/CD safety, scalable cloud infrastructure, and progressive delivery. What you will do

• Own the strategy, architecture, operation, and roadmap for platform and release-engineering systems.
• Design scalable GCP infrastructure using Cloud Run, managed services, and infrastructure as code.
• Operate CI/CD across a six-repository cluster, including merge queues, GitHub rulesets, branch protections, and required checks.
• Build isolated review, integration, build, and QA environments with automated lifecycle management.
• Implement progressive delivery, controlled rollouts, automated promotion, and rapid rollback.
• Improve CI reliability, observability, performance, security, cost efficiency, and developer autonomy.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Release Engineering, SRE, or a related field.
• Independent ownership of a platform or release-engineering function.
• Strong production experience with GCP, especially Cloud Run and managed cloud services.
• Deep experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD, GitHub rulesets, branch protection, merge queues, and multi-repository delivery workflows.
• Experience with release automation, progressive delivery, trunk-based development, isolated environments, infrastructure as code, Linux, containers, networking, IAM, secrets management, and cloud security.
• AI-native engineering fluency is mandatory; the role requires regular use of AI agents and AI-enabled engineering tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or Pulumi, Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, Pub/Sub, Workflows, Secret Manager, and progressive-delivery platforms.
• Knowledge of contract testing, end-to-end testing, ephemeral environments, selective CI execution, or tightly coupled multi-repository architectures.
• Experience with supply-chain security, policy as code, vulnerability scanning, secrets detection, and artifact provenance.
• Familiarity with Cloud Monitoring, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Datadog, Sentry, delivery metrics, developer portals, or AI coding agents.
• Startup experience or experience mentoring engineers and leading cross-functional platform initiatives.
