DevOps / SRE Engineer

TL;DR

DevOps / SRE Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes): Designing, automating, and operating multi-region cloud infrastructure handling more than 50 billion API calls per day, with an accent on high availability, observability, and secure infrastructure automation. What you will do

• Design, build, and operate highly available cloud infrastructure across multiple regions.
• Partner with development teams on cloud architecture, deployments, and production support.
• Build tooling and observability using VictoriaMetrics, Thanos, Loki, Datadog, and PagerDuty.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters at scale and implement advanced GitOps deployment strategies with ArgoCD.
• Automate infrastructure and CI workflows with Terraform while maintaining a secure, scalable multi-account AWS architecture.
• Participate in a compensated 24/7 on-call rotation every five weeks and a rotating business-hours support week.

Requirements

• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Experience as a DevOps/SRE Engineer or Software Engineer transitioning into DevOps, production, and CI work.
• Infrastructure and public cloud experience, primarily with AWS.
• Scripting or programming skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience, ideally with AWS EKS, plus GitOps or continuous delivery tooling.
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation, along with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCP or Azure.
• Experience running Kafka on Kubernetes with the Strimzi operator.
