Associate - Valuations

What you will do

• Analyze historical and projected financial information for valuation engagements.
• Develop detailed financial models to value companies and investments.
• Organize large datasets in Microsoft Excel and use Capital IQ and Bloomberg for financial and market research.
• Research industries and assess clients’ competitive advantages and disadvantages.
• Communicate project status and results internally and externally through reports, meetings, and presentations.
• Contribute to client development activities and build relationships as a trusted advisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• One to two years of prior valuation experience is preferred, particularly with an accounting firm or national valuation firm.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, report writing, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Interest in developing knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Progress toward an ASA, CFA, or similar designation is favorable.
• Must provide verification of legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
