What you will do

• Lead and operationalize editorial strategy in partnership with brand leadership.
• Oversee project management workflows across print, digital, video, and events.
• Manage content and opex budgets, ensuring alignment with editorial priorities.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with Revenue, Marketing, Finance, and HR teams.
• Establish and maintain brand guidelines, content rights processes, and editorial standards.
• Directly manage the Editorial Operations team and support global team leadership.

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience in senior editorial roles or leading editorial teams.
• Proven ability to manage large budgets and balance financial goals with creative ambition.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills for managing complex, multi-platform workflows.
• Experience in mentoring, coaching, and fostering growth for large creative teams.
• Deep understanding of GQ and Pitchfork brand identities and coverage areas.
• Ability to lead through organizational change and navigate complex matrix environments.
