Field Sales Engineer (Midwest)

Location: Must be based in the Chicagoland area. This role requires up to 75% travel.

Compensation: $110,000 - $125,000 (On Target Earnings).

What you will do

• Provide pre-sales engineering support and develop system design recommendations.
• Prepare technical sales materials, white papers, and documentation.
• Coordinate on-site proof of concept and trial installations for clients.
• Conduct training seminars and webinars for internal and external customers.
• Perform in-depth on-site troubleshooting and technical solutions support.
• Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers to drive sales growth in the territory.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or Information Systems.
• 4+ years of experience in networking or video-related systems, preferably in a customer-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP and RESTful APIs.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts through presentations and writing.
• Must reside in the Chicagoland area.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
