What you will do

• Modernize legacy services using AI to analyze codebases, extract clean APIs, and implement strangler fig patterns.
• Build AI-powered development infrastructure, including MCP servers and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop reusable AI tooling and agentic solutions using Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
• Demonstrate AI-first development by refactoring, testing, and debugging with LLM assistance.
• Train and mentor engineering teams on AI-enabled workflows and best practices.
• Deliver measurable improvements in API performance, code quality, and development speed.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with Java backend expertise.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, API design, and legacy migration strategies.
• Hands-on experience building with Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Proven track record of using AI development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) in production.
• Experience implementing AI in CI/CD pipelines for security, testing, and code review.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in Kraków, Poland.
