TL;DR

Manager, Strategy & Business Development (Media): Driving strategic initiatives and business development for a global portfolio of news brands with an accent on market analysis, financial modeling, and partnership negotiation. Focus on identifying growth opportunities, supporting senior leadership in decision-making, and building operational models to fuel long-term revenue.

Location: Must be based in New York, NY (Hybrid: 4 days per week in-office required).

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Research and synthesize market data to evaluate new business, investment, and partnership opportunities.
  • Perform financial and strategic analysis on competitors and market trends.
  • Build detailed financial and operational models to support organic growth and investments.
  • Create executive-level presentations to communicate analysis and strategic findings.
  • Support negotiations for new business partnerships and strategic investments.
  • Collaborate with senior operational leaders to guide long-term business strategy.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in media strategy, business development, finance, investment banking, or management consulting.
  • Deep knowledge of the media business, specifically television and digital media.
  • Superior research, analytical, and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience working with senior leadership.
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
