Construction Engineering Intern

TL;DR

What you will do

• Support development and maintenance of the FASTR database, including field audits and data verification.
• Participate in field validation, including Point of Connection (POC) lateral X/Y verification to align design and as-built conditions.
• Assist with testing and validation of new GCE Optimizer software, documenting results and supporting issue resolution.
• Support P/ID updates and lateral design development for upcoming construction scopes.
• Review and merge vendor drawings with hirify.global Plan of Record (POR) and lateral reference packages (RPs).
• Create and maintain a central repository for 2D and 3D engineering content for design and construction teams.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work on-site in the US (assigned hirify.global site); hybrid work model splits time between on-site and off-site.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Process/Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Ability to work on-site in construction or industrial environments as required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, matrixed environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
