What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Operations Specialists for daily transportation execution and customer support.
- Monitor operational metrics and drive accountability for service expectations.
- Analyze weekly KPI trends to identify improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Carrier Management, Client Engagement, and Operations Leadership to resolve issues and meet customer needs.
- Lead conflict resolution and complex problem-solving for transportation execution and service performance.
- Review operational and financial reporting and ensure accurate use of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and operational tools.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- 4+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain.
- 2+ years of people leadership experience.
- Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or similar operational platforms.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Slides) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of transportation markets and various modes of transportation, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Culture & Benefits
- Hybrid schedule based out of the Newport, KY Center of Excellence: 2 remote days (Monday and Friday) and 3 in-office days (Tuesday–Thursday).
- Full-time role with Monday–Friday hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) and possible after-hours support for escalations.
