App Engineer - Discovery & Consideration (Flutter)

Location: Hamburg or Berlin, Germany

Salary: €60,000–€70,000 per year

What you will do

• Implement new features in the shopping app using Dart and Flutter.
• Build high-performance components and complex frontend logic.
• Develop features that improve UI/UX and conversion rates.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, designers, and other engineers.
• Define acceptance criteria and ensure features meet requirements.
• Contribute to team processes through agile retrospectives and stakeholder collaboration.

Requirements

• Extensive frontend development experience across multiple frameworks.
• Extensive professional experience with Flutter.
• Strong expertise in UI development and complex frontend logic.
• Ability to write efficient, maintainable, well-structured code and maintain code quality.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, autonomy, and ownership skills.
• Comfort working in an English-speaking environment.

Nice to have

• Design awareness and close collaboration experience with designers.
• Familiarity with gRPC and Go in a shop backend environment.
• Expertise in UI and animation development.
