Android Engineer (Flutter)

What you will do

• Design, build, maintain, and distribute Android SDKs, libraries, and reusable platform modules.
• Collaborate with product teams to identify repeatable patterns and turn them into shared tools.
• Build cross-platform components in Flutter and maintain alignment between Android and iOS.
• Optimize SDK performance, memory usage, battery efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.
• Implement clean architecture, robust error handling, concurrency, lifecycle-aware components, instrumentation, and logging.
• Coordinate with QA, CI/CD, and DevOps to support reliable SDK releases and integrate Android platform updates.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong Kotlin and Java skills, with knowledge of Android SDK internals, app lifecycles, background tasks, concurrency, and memory management.
• Experience building, maintaining, and distributing Android SDKs used across multiple applications.
• Knowledge of Gradle, multi-module architectures, build optimization, OOP, design patterns, SOLID, and clean architecture such as MVVM or MVI.
• Experience with system-level debugging, RESTful APIs, offline storage, ProGuard/R8, SSL pinning, secure coding, CI/CD, test automation, and release versioning.
• Familiarity with Flutter and Dart, or willingness to work in cross-platform environments.

Nice to have

• Experience writing Flutter platform channels and integrating native modules.
• Contributions to open-source Android or Flutter projects.
• Understanding of Maven, internal artifact management, and semantic versioning.
• Experience with low-level system APIs, hardware interactions, or custom device integrations.
