Mobile Engineer (Flutter)

What you will do

• Own mobile feature areas end to end, from the interface and data layer through native Android and iOS code.
• Build features according to hirify.global's documented architecture and maintain consistency across the app.
• Develop native integrations including WidgetKit, Jetpack Glance, quick actions, method channels, and background work.
• Improve the mobile editor experience inside a fork of InAppWebView, including JavaScript-to-Dart bridging.
• Build push notifications, in-app notifications, inbox, catch-up, and activity features for people and AI agents.
• Work with backend, design, product, and QA teams while writing platform-specific test scenarios and supporting multiple server versions.

Requirements

• Production experience shipping and maintaining Flutter applications through releases and regressions.
• Strong understanding of clean architecture, SOLID, unidirectional state flow, side effects, and Bloc.
• Experience with dependency injection, unit testing, and widget testing.
• Experience writing native Android and iOS code to support Flutter features.
• Experience with webview-based applications and JavaScript/Dart bridging.
• Experience with local caching, persistence, and applications deployed in self-hosted, regulated, or locked-down environments.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping with Bloc or maintaining a Flutter package or fork used by other developers.
• Experience with Flutter applications deployed across different server versions and customer-controlled infrastructure.
