TL;DR
Career Educator (Beyond Tomorrow Scholars Program): Supporting students, particularly within the Beyond Tomorrow Scholars Program, to become career-ready graduates by connecting their talents and education to the world of work. Focus on designing identity-informed career learning experiences, fostering mentorship opportunities, and collaborating with campus and industry partners to advance the educational aspirations of Black students and other marginalized communities.
Location: Must be based in Vancouver, BC, Canada ( Vancouver Campus).
Compensation: $6,747.50 - $9,701.42 CAD Monthly.

What you will do
- Design, deliver, and evaluate in-person and online career programs tailored to specialized student populations.
- Provide one-on-one career coaching and group-based learning on professional development topics.
- Lead and oversee peer mentorship programming, including recruitment and training of mentors.
- Build and maintain relationships with alumni, employers, and community partners to expand networking opportunities.
- Embed career learning into experiential and co-curricular activities across various faculties.
- Collect and analyze data to assess program effectiveness and contribute to strategic planning.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of related experience in career education, student affairs, or human resources.
- Demonstrated experience working with Black people, organizations, and communities.
- Strong commitment to advancing the educational aspirations of students from systemically marginalized communities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Nice to have
- Graduate degree.
- Certified Coach credential.
- Experience in a post-secondary environment.
- Certification in StrengthsFinder or other human capital assessment tools.
