What you will do
- Shape and lead the London Market portfolio management strategy in partnership with executive leadership.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, influencing underwriting strategy and remedial actions.
- Oversee the development and calibration of technical pricing models to ensure market-leading profitability.
- Drive quarterly business planning and performance tracking through strategic Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Lead and develop a team of actuaries and analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Champion the use of data and technology to embed analytics into daily underwriting operations.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work from London, UK.
- Proven leadership experience in delivering cross-functional projects involving senior stakeholders.
- Strong technical actuarial skills with experience in developing and calibrating pricing models.
- Deep understanding of specialty insurance products and market operations.
- Advanced ability to analyze large, complex datasets and articulate insights to leadership.
- Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and influence decision-making.
