What you will do

• Provide insights on financial strength and risks through detailed balance sheet and reporting metric analysis.
• Develop, implement, and optimize risk appetite, capital management, and liquidity frameworks.
• Identify and execute balance sheet and capital management solutions to improve shareholder outcomes.
• Prepare governance and strategy papers for senior leadership and committees.
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, including regulators and consultants.
• Support business-wide initiatives impacting the shareholder balance sheet.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK and able to work in a hybrid capacity in London, Stirling, or Edinburgh.
• Excellent technical actuarial knowledge and attention to detail.
• Strong ability to simplify complex financial situations into clear messages for stakeholders.
• Proven experience in influencing senior stakeholders and drafting committee papers.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently under tight deadlines.
• Fixed-term contract commitment until March 2027.
