What you will do

• Lead pricing activities for individual annuity products, ensuring competitive and commercially sound decisions.
• Monitor product performance by analyzing sales volumes, profitability, and market positioning.
• Develop and maintain a dynamic pricing framework to support frequent repricing in a fast-moving market.
• Improve pricing models and infrastructure, including the integration of new analytical tools.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Investments, Risk, and Propositions teams.
• Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and committees.

Requirements

• Qualified actuary preferred or candidates with strong, hands-on pricing experience.
• Experience in individual annuities pricing or related analytical actuarial roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency in data analysis, trend modeling, and statistical techniques.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Edinburgh or Stirling.
