What you will do

  • Own all accounting for sales commissions, including expense recognition, accruals, and amortization under ASC 606.
  • Maintain SOX-compliant internal controls and support internal/external audit activities.
  • Oversee the end-to-end commission calculation and payout process in partnership with Sales Operations.
  • Lead the implementation and enhancement of commission systems to drive automation and scalability.
  • Collaborate with FP&A on commission forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Manage and develop the commission team while acting as a strategic advisor to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, specifically in commission or incentive compensation.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX internal control frameworks.
  • Proven experience in high-growth SaaS or complex global sales environments.
  • Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with commission systems like Xactly.
  • Demonstrated ability to own complex accounting processes and lead system integrations.
