Director, SAP Support (SAP)

Location: Remote — United Kingdom; the role must be based in the UK and may be performed from a remote home office.

What you will do

• Lead regional managers and SAP support engineers delivering remote support for mission-critical SAP applications.
• Build and develop a cohesive support organization, including skill planning, sourcing, hiring, and team capability development.
• Manage client satisfaction, operational efficiency, service quality, KPIs, gross margin, and other delivery targets.
• Work directly with clients, manage escalations, support business change, and maintain long-term executive relationships.
• Support sales cycles, client onboarding, staffing assessments, market opportunities, and executive business reviews.
• Improve global and regional support processes while guiding teams in a 24x7x365 virtual environment.

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant SAP applications experience.
• 10+ years supporting application end users in a corporate environment and 10+ years managing senior-level IT resources and teams.
• Deep technical expertise in SAP products, including application architecture, configuration or administration, maintenance, patching, localizations, and multiple modules.
• Experience solving complex problems across SAP modules and working with senior executive leadership as a trusted advisor.
• Working knowledge of ITIL methodology and case management.
• Ability to work remotely from a UK-based home office, including flexible hours, evenings, weekends, holidays, and regular email monitoring outside standard business hours.

Nice to have

• ITIL, ITSM, or SAP certification.
• Experience with multiple localizations and global implementations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP application functionality, tables, relationships, and customization or extension methodologies.
• Experience improving processes in a rapidly growing business.
