What you will do

  • Review and make final decisions on complex casualty proposals adhering to AI underwriting standards.
  • Act as the primary broker-facing account lead to nurture relationships and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine appetite, pricing, and coverage strategies based on market feedback.
  • Mentor and coach Associate Underwriters to optimize workflow and quote throughput.
  • Provide feedback for the codification and improvement of the AI-driven proposal engine.
  • Negotiate and finalize quotes with brokers, ensuring clear communication of coverage and exclusions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant professional work experience.
  • Proven experience in casualty underwriting within the E&S or specialty insurance market.
  • Strong track record of building and maintaining productive broker relationships.
  • Ability to manage complex risks and make informed underwriting decisions.
  • Valid US Work Authorization is mandatory; no sponsorship is available.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% (once per quarter).
