What you will do

• Setup and operate CNC grinding machines to meet production targets.
• Perform inspection checks using manual and automated metrology equipment.
• Conduct self-inspections and maintain quality audits for self-certification.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings and shop documentation.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and 5S standards.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on machinery.

Requirements

• Significant experience in setting and running CNC grinding machinery.
• Recognized apprenticeship in machining or a related field.
• Ability to work to extremely tight tolerances with a focus on quality.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings in metric and imperial.
• Solid understanding of GD&T principles.
• Must be available for permanent night shift work.
