Power Platform Developer, Mid (Microsoft Power Platform)

Location: Remote - DC Metro Area. Select positions may require US citizenship, federal clearance, and a background investigation of up to 10 years.

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop, test, deploy, and enhance Microsoft Power Platform solutions for Department of the Interior programs.
• Build model-driven applications and configure Dataverse tables, relationships, security roles, business rules, forms, views, and business process flows.
• Develop secure Power Pages portals and create Power BI semantic models, dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Build Power Automate cloud flows for submissions, routing, notifications, approvals, compliance, and other business processes.
• Support integrations with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Azure services, REST APIs, and external systems.
• Participate in Agile delivery, ALM, peer reviews, testing, releases, documentation, troubleshooting, and production support.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience developing or supporting Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• 2+ years building model-driven apps and configuring Microsoft Dataverse solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Power Pages, Power BI, Power Automate, REST APIs, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and external-system integrations.
• Experience with solutions, environment variables, connection references, source control, deployment processes, Git, CI/CD, and Agile delivery.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, role-based security, Power Platform ALM and governance, JavaScript or TypeScript, and integration troubleshooting.
• Federal clearance or US citizenship may be required for select positions.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Azure, Security+, Scrum, Agile, or SAFe certifications.
• Federal civilian agency experience, including work with the National Park Service or Department of the Interior.
• Experience with compliance, permitting, case-management, grants, records-management, or submission-tracking solutions.
• Knowledge of Power Pages security patterns, Dataverse auditing and migration, Power BI optimization, Azure integration services, GCC, FedRAMP-aligned controls, or C#/.NET.
