Supervisor, Fund Accountant, Private Equity

Salary: CAD 82,500–121,000 per year

What you will do

• Review private equity client financial data and load it into internal accounting systems.
• Set up, prepare, and review consolidations across investment structures using applicable consolidation rules.
• Process fund expense payments, journal entries, cash payments, and accruals.
• Prepare investment and cash reconciliations, capital call and distribution calculations, fee schedules, and investor allocations.
• Prepare NAV packages and other deliverables in line with service-level agreements.
• Supervise and mentor associate-level staff while coordinating with clients, banks, auditors, and internal teams.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education or a university degree in finance or accounting.
• Experience in fund administration, including experience managing staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of fund structures, fee calculations, financial instruments, and fund offering documentation.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent accounting designation preferred or in progress.
• Experience with Geneva, Investran, or Yardi is an asset; Bloomberg knowledge is beneficial.
