What you will do

• Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for Spain and Portugal, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Validate payroll inputs and reconcile outputs from external providers.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external payroll vendors, monitoring service quality and SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with labor law, social security, and taxation requirements.
• Prepare and validate monthly payroll reports for HR and Finance departments.
• Provide expert support to employees and business stakeholders on payroll and benefits matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of payroll experience in Spain.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish labor law, social security, and taxation.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Availability to work from the Madrid area.
• Proven experience with external payroll providers and HRIS systems.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Portugal payroll.
• Proficiency in Portuguese.
• Experience with Workday, SAP HR, or Meta4.
• Advanced Excel skills.
