What you will do

• Design a modular, reusable semantic layer to ensure consistent metrics across BI, data science, and AI tools.
• Lead cross-organizational data initiatives and drive alignment on governance standards.
• Influence build-versus-buy decisions for analytics tooling and infrastructure.
• Mentor senior analytics engineers and define technical standards for the organization.
• Partner with executive stakeholders to evolve data infrastructure in support of company objectives.
• Ensure high availability and quality of data reporting through proactive monitoring and alerting.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related technical data roles.
• Expert-level SQL and data modeling skills with experience spanning multiple business domains.
• Deep experience with semantic layer design, metrics-as-code, and data governance at scale.
• Strong understanding of how AI and machine learning workflows consume structured data.
• Proven ability to influence and gain alignment across diverse stakeholders including product, engineering, and finance.
• Must be based in the United States (with limited exceptions).
