What you will do

• Architect and operate distributed data pipelines processing massive volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Design scalable ETL/ELT solutions using dbt to ensure end-to-end data integrity.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to build robust data foundations for model training and deployment.
• Drive improvements in data quality, lineage, and system reliability.
• Establish engineering standards and reusable patterns for the Azure cloud-native platform.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, backend engineering, or data architecture.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems and cloud-first data platforms.
• Proven ability to lead technical decisions and drive alignment within a team.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and workflow orchestration.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in Illinois.

• Expertise with Databricks and Azure-based data architectures.
• Experience supporting ML workflows or AI-driven applications.
