Data Architect

TL;DR

Data Architect (Data Architecture/BI): Driving business data analysis, defining data requirements, and designing analytical reporting solutions with an accent on data warehousing modeling, data integration, and data quality/governance. What you will do

• Lead in-depth business data analysis to understand data origin, flow, granularity, meaning, and identify process- and system-driven data gaps with recommended solutions.
• Prototype and document data/reporting requirements and hand off fully vetted, implementable requirements to IT development teams.
• Design, document, and deliver configurable, highly supportable analytical reporting solutions using standardized data definitions and certified data sources.
• Partner on data quality monitoring and advocate for strong data governance; support data validation and UAT execution for integration and reporting changes.
• Establish stabilization/production support SLAs for reporting artifacts and coordinate with IT on underlying data infrastructure.
• Provide inputs to evolve data architecture strategy aligned with business priorities and IT guardrails, including driving data integration and BI/reporting capabilities.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States (hybrid work model with time on-site at an assigned hirify.global site and off-site).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with data visualization (Power BI) and query languages (SQL).
• Experience with Python and advanced SQL, plus Azure and/or Snowflake and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience working with data for demand planning, supply planning, procurement, sales and marketing, manufacturing, finance, and/or product master data.
• Ability to analyze data requirements and design effective database solutions and models; experience with data warehousing modeling and data integration design.

Nice to have

• Experience with data modeling and driving change through data and data solutions.
• Experience in supply chain management.
• Track record of designing, implementing, and supporting large-scale data and analytics solutions.
• Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Codex) in an IDE to improve development speed, code quality, and engineering efficiency.

• Annual salary range for US-located roles: $136,900.00–$269,150.00 USD.
