What you will do

  • Assist Sales Territory Managers as a utility player, including covering managers during leave and supporting newly opening national territories.
  • Learn Companion products, services, and the sales process using a consultative sales approach.
  • Prospect and meet with veterinarians and staff, delivering professional product demonstrations.
  • Participate in a “Sales Rotational” program to learn outside and inside sales aspects.
  • Travel for work assignments (typically 3–5 days) and be available for up to 1 week at a time across the U.S.

Requirements

  • Relocation: Must be willing to relocate when management feels ready to become a Sales Territory Manager and a territory becomes available.
  • Travel: Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Some sales experience or equivalent education (ideal).
  • Comfort working with Microsoft Office, email, web browsers, and spreadsheet tools.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build professional relationships with managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
