What you will do

• Organize, track, and maintain lab assets including embedded devices, servers, networking gear, and specialized tools.
• Manage virtualized environments (VMs, images, configurations) to support development and testing workflows.
• Design, configure, and maintain lab networking environments (physical and virtual), including isolated custom topologies.
• Create and maintain test environments (“ranges”) and rapidly adapt them to evolving scenario requirements.
• Perform hands-on hardware & firmware operations: extract firmware via JTAG/UART/SPI, re-flash/recover devices, and handle low-level recovery work when needed.
• Coordinate across multiple teams by gathering requirements, prioritizing needs, and communicating lab capability constraints and timelines.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance (required; applicants without the clearance are not eligible).
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with lab environments, hardware systems, or R&D infrastructure.
• Strong networking fundamentals (routing, switching, VLANs, segmentation) and ability to troubleshoot across hardware, software, and network layers.
• Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Proxmox, VirtualBox).
• On-site work in Annapolis Junction, MD.
