Vice President, Private Credit

TL;DR

Vice President, Private Credit (Finance): Managing deep sector coverage and investment analysis across the full credit spectrum, including senior secured loans and private credit. Focus on underwriting complex credit situations, generating investment ideas, and presenting comprehensive investment memos to the Investment Committee.

Location: Must be based in London, with a hybrid work model requiring at least four days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Review and prepare credit theses for new senior secured loans, high yield bonds, and private investments.
• Produce detailed underwriting memos covering company analysis, capital structure, and cash-flow projections.
• Maintain coverage of 25–30 issuers across 2–3 industries through ongoing monitoring and financial analysis.
• Generate new investment ideas and identify secondary market opportunities.
• Engage with syndicate desks, sell-side analysts, and private equity sponsors to build market sentiment.
• Participate in management meetings, site visits, and expert calls to support investment decisions.

Requirements

• Solid experience as a credit analyst covering leveraged loans, high yield bonds, or direct lending.
• Strong financial modeling, quantitative, and qualitative analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Bachelor’s degree required; CFA preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
