What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of nine analysts covering European high yield and distressed credits, including mentoring and performance management.
• Shape research coverage strategy for performing and distressed credits, leading restructuring and recovery analysis using valuation models.
• Originate and oversee the publication of timely credit research reports containing actionable investment ideas.
• Collaborate with editorial managers, legal analysts, and reporters to deliver cross-disciplinary research.
• Work with commercial and marketing teams to maximize content impact and foster subscriber relationships.
• Maintain active dialogue with industry contacts and represent the firm at industry events.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of credit analysis experience, with significant time in client-facing or decision-making roles.
• Minimum 3+ years of managerial experience including direct team leadership and career development.
• Demonstrated expertise in European high yield, covenants, distressed debt opportunities, and restructuring proceedings.
• Advanced skills in financial modeling, cash flow projections, and valuation.
• Excellent technical, analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Must be based in or be able to work hybrid from London, UK.
