TL;DR

Consultant (HEOR/Epidemiology): Executing and overseeing real-world evidence generation and epidemiological research projects with an accent on advanced statistical analysis and methodological rigor. Focus on designing observational studies, managing client deliverables, and contributing to scientific publications within a high-paced consulting environment.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Boston, MA; New York, NY; or Washington, DC offices with 3-4 days of in-office attendance per week.

Salary: $130,000 - $190,000 per year

What you will do

  • Develop and implement rigorous research methodologies for HEOR and pharmacoepidemiological studies.
  • Analyze diverse healthcare data sources including claims, EHR, and clinical trial data using statistical programming.
  • Design and generate high-quality client deliverables and technical study reports.
  • Manage small to medium-sized client engagements and project workstreams.
  • Delegate tasks to junior staff, monitor progress, and ensure quality control of work products.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and internal practice meetings.

Requirements

  • PhD in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Science, or related data science discipline required (PhD in Epidemiology preferred).
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in real-world evidence research, consulting, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one statistical programming language such as SQL, R, SAS, Stata, or Python.
  • Demonstrated experience in statistical analysis and applying rigorous research methods.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences and supervising junior colleagues.
