TL;DR

Consultant (HEOR/Epidemiology): Executing and overseeing real-world evidence generation and epidemiological research projects with an accent on advanced statistical analysis and methodological rigor. Location: Must be based in or able to work from Boston, MA; New York, NY; or Washington, DC offices with 3-4 days of in-office attendance per week.

Salary: $130,000 - $190,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and implement rigorous research methodologies for HEOR and pharmacoepidemiological studies.
• Analyze diverse healthcare data sources including claims, EHR, and clinical trial data using statistical programming.
• Design and generate high-quality client deliverables and technical study reports.
• Manage small to medium-sized client engagements and project workstreams.
• Delegate tasks to junior staff, monitor progress, and ensure quality control of work products.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and internal practice meetings.

Requirements

• PhD in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Science, or related data science discipline required (PhD in Epidemiology preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in real-world evidence research, consulting, or pharmaceutical industry.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
• Strong proficiency in at least one statistical programming language such as SQL, R, SAS, Stata, or Python.
• Demonstrated experience in statistical analysis and applying rigorous research methods.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences and supervising junior colleagues.
