What you will do

• Supervise and lead a team of materials testing technicians, engineers, or scientists.
• Assign tasks, set goals, and monitor performance to ensure project objectives are met.
• Develop testing plans, including selecting appropriate methodologies, equipment, and parameters.
• Oversee the execution of mechanical, thermal, and chemical materials tests.
• Review and analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues.
• Generate comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing findings for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Five years of laboratory and leadership experience.
• Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to ITAR compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in materials testing and quality control.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift objects up to 55 pounds and perform physical tasks in a lab setting.
