What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain automated test equipment for production environments.
• Develop test software for data acquisition, simulation, and quality control.
• Analyze test data to drive continuous product and process improvements.
• Debug production testers and manufacturing fixtures for galvanometers and scan heads.
• Collaborate with R&D, quality, and manufacturing engineering teams to optimize yield.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in Stockport, UK
• Professional experience with LabVIEW in a production environment.
• Strong hardware troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.
• Proficiency in SQL database programming and maintenance.
• Experience with data acquisition, signal processing, and test instrumentation.
• BSc in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Applied Physics, or related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-volume production testing environments.
• Knowledge of Python, C++, C#, or .NET.
• Familiarity with National Instruments hardware (PXI, DAQ, RIO).
