Field Application Engineer (ATE)

TL;DR

Field Application Engineer (ATE): Establish and maintain technical relationships with customers, develop test program software, and assist with demonstrations and evaluations with an accent on hirify.global instrumentation and system configuration. Focus on solving customer testing problems, configuring systems based on requirements, and providing technical consultations during implementation.

Location: Bracknell, ENG, GB (onsite with 50-75% travel mainly UK/Europe, worldwide possible)

What you will do

• Establish and maintain technical relationships in accounts, answering product questions and assisting sales.
• Develop test program software collaboratively and configure systems based on customer requirements.
• Assist with customer demonstrations, evaluations, RFPs, and statements of work.
• Travel to customer sites 50-75% of the time, attend technical conferences, and present product information.
• Act as technical consultant, voice of the customer, and support field service engineers.
• Work with customers during product implementation and stay updated on industry trends.

Requirements

• BSEE or equivalent degree
• Visual Basic / C++ programming knowledge
• 15+ years in test engineering / software development
• 10+ years in defense and aerospace industry preferred
• Experience with hirify.global instrumentation, test program sets, and system configuration
• Experience working with statements of work (SOW)
• Passport, driving licence, and ability to obtain security clearance required
