TL;DR

Product Modelling Engineer (Semiconductor): Developing and testing advanced MOSFET SPICE and HDL models to predict performance for next-generation semiconductor platforms with an accent on modelling methodology improvement and research technologies. Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Manchester, UK

What you will do

  • Support the development of next-generation MOSFET platforms.
  • Generate and test new MOSFET SPICE and HDL models.
  • Improve modelling methodologies, particularly for research-stage technologies.
  • Provide design-in assistance to customers using developed models.
  • Collaborate on initiatives to predict the performance of new semiconductor technologies.

Requirements

  • BSc, MSc, MEng, or PhD in a relevant engineering field such as electronics or semiconductor physics.
  • Prior experience in a similar or relevant professional field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work onsite in Manchester.

Nice to have

  • Experience with circuit simulation and SPICE modelling design.
  • Knowledge of Power semiconductor principles and Power Electronics (<1KV).
  • Proficiency in TCAD, ICCAP, LTSPICE, Cadence, or Statistica.
  • Scripting capabilities in Python.
