Staff Accountant

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 USD

What you will do

• Manage accounts payable (vendor invoices, coding, payments) and accounts receivable (billing, collections).
• Process employee expense reports ensuring policy compliance.
• Perform monthly journal entries and reconcile all balance sheet accounts to maintain general ledger integrity.
• Manage the fixed asset register and track capital expenditures (CapEx).
• Execute month-end close activities and maintain the close calendar.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to department leaders to improve budget management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–5 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in small-to-mid sized companies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables).
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and its application to complex transactions.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
