What you will do

• Lead the collection, documentation, and synthesis of lessons learned across the program.
• Support the development and application of MEL approaches to track and explain program impact.
• Coordinate MEL inputs for contractual reporting, including quarterly reports and logframe submissions.
• Act as a Duty Officer on a rotational basis, providing 24/7 monitoring and alerting for humanitarian developments.
• Provide surge support during humanitarian crises, including evidence gathering and reporting.
• Contribute to risk management procedures and mitigation measures.

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK and minimum of 2 years residency in the UK out of the last 5 years.
• Experience in MEL, reporting, or program support, ideally in humanitarian or development settings.
• Strong drafting skills with the ability to produce clear, concise outputs to tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and knowledge management systems like SharePoint.
• Comfortable using AI tools to support analysis, drafting, and reporting.
• Willingness to undertake Duty Officer responsibilities and deploy at short notice to challenging environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in humanitarian response, preparedness, or resilience programming.
• Familiarity with MEL approaches such as outcome harvesting, after-action reviews, or value for money analysis.
• Experience working with international donors, UN agencies, or INGOs.
• Fluency in a second UN language.
