TL;DR
Software Engineer, Software Integration Test (Automotive): Testing, validating, and debugging embedded automotive software across multiple domains with an accent on component-level testing, software interfaces, and automated test solutions. Focus on designing verification criteria, building test cases with C and C++, maintaining pytest or Robot Framework automation, and supporting root cause analysis for integration issues.

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid work with three onsite days per week

Annual gross base salary: RON 202,500–297,000

What you will do

  • Analyze embedded software architecture, design specifications, and interface documentation.
  • Define verification criteria and design, develop, and execute test cases across architectural layers.
  • Develop and maintain automated test solutions using relevant test and automation frameworks.
  • Establish test coverage and traceability to design specifications.
  • Document test cases, report defects, and support root cause analysis.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
  • Experience developing or testing software in automotive domains.
  • Practical experience with C and C++.
  • Experience with Google Test and automation frameworks such as pytest or Robot Framework.
  • Ability to interpret high-level design, component design, and hardware/software interface specifications, along with modeling artifacts.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and structured problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with modeling and design tools such as Enterprise Architect.
