Senior Financial Accountant

TL;DR

Senior Financial Accountant (IFRS/GL): Accounting of individual entities under IFRS, including revenue and cost review, reconciliations, and tax accounting, with management analysis and financial reporting. Focus on monthly results oversight, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, and ensuring strong financial control while coordinating tax-related activities and process improvement.

Location: Kraków, Poland (hybrid: 3 days in the office)

Salary: from 11 000 PLN (final offer depends on experience and competencies)

What you will do

• Prepare management and financial accounts, including review and oversight of monthly results for group entities.
• Perform standard bookings and reviews for purchase orders, invoices, prepayments, fixed assets, accruals, payments, and cost analysis.
• Handle balance sheet reconciliations and maintain a strong financial control environment.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and cost allocations in line with transfer pricing rules.
• Produce financial reporting in accordance with International Accounting Standards (IAS/IFRS).
• Support tax-related activities (management and coordination) when required and participate in process improvement projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in GL/RtR
• Finance and accounting education background.
• Very good understanding of financial processes, financial statements, and risks related to balance sheet positions.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical skills with ownership of daily financial and operational issues.
• Fluent English

Nice to have

• Understanding of Polish GAAP and tax framework.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Experience in international environment/corporations.
