GL Accountant

TL;DR

GL Accountant: Performing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities with an accent on General Ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations. Focus on ensuring financial compliance, supporting audits, and executing RTR processes within a dynamic multinational environment.

Location: Must be based in Gdynia, Poland (Hybrid: 4 days/week on-site initially, transitioning to 2 days/week on-site).

What you will do

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries in the General Ledger.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support fixed assets, intercompany, and accruals processes.
• Prepare financial reports and analysis for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in RTR / General Ledger accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
• Availability to work on-site in Gdynia, Poland.

• Experience in transition projects.
• Advanced Excel skills.
