What you will do

• Adapt and implement IFRS9 standards into the model development and monitoring framework for the ING Group.
• Review and challenge existing IFRS9 model development and monitoring methodologies.
• Translate methodology requirements into functional specifications for internal development tools.
• Participate in the end-to-end development and monitoring of IFRS9 and IRB/Non-IRB models.
• Collaborate with the internal Model Validation Unit throughout the model lifecycle.
• Produce comprehensive model documentation and technical reports.

Requirements

• MSc in mathematics, econometrics, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• At least 6 years of experience in IFRS9 standards interpretation and model development.
• Strong knowledge of statistical inference, econometric methods, and statistical programming.
• English proficiency at C1 level.
• Ability to identify problems, analyze key information, and design structural solutions.
• Proven track record of efficient task execution and delivery of KPIs.

Nice to have

• Experience acting as a sparring partner or advisor to Senior Management.
• Familiarity with software development best practices including version control, testing, and issue tracking.
• Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, CFA, or CQF.
