What you will do

• Respond to consumer, healthcare professional, and other external requests for medical and safety information through phone, email, web, letters, fax, and scientific meetings.
• Prepare labeled and unlabeled medical and safety responses using approved labeling, standard responses, published literature, and other data.
• Identify, document, and report adverse events, pregnancy reports, special situation events, and product complaints according to regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Translate English documents and responses into the target language and deliver translated information verbally or in writing.
• Log inquiries accurately and perform quality checks on safety cases, complaints, correspondence, inquiries, and translations.
• Provide rotated after-hours coverage when required and protect confidential and personal data under applicable privacy policies.

Requirements

• Pharmacy degree.
• Japanese mother tongue and fluent English; Japan-based roles require a TOEIC score of 800 or higher.
• Strong translation, proofreading, verbal, and written communication skills, including professional telephone etiquette and empathetic customer service.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems, with the ability to learn inquiry-handling databases.
