What you will do

• Lead fundamental research coverage of financial institutions including banks, insurance, and fintech platforms.
• Develop detailed financial models, valuation frameworks, and scenario analyses to assess company performance.
• Produce actionable investment recommendations supported by rigorous analysis and industry insight.
• Monitor sector developments, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic trends influencing investment outcomes.
• Partner with portfolio managers to shape investment strategy, position sizing, and risk management.
• Present investment theses and risk assessments to the investment committee.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in equity or credit research, investment management, investment banking, or consulting.
• Deep understanding of bank and insurance financial statements, regulatory capital frameworks, and valuation methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to generate differentiated insights and successful investment recommendations.
• Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills for articulating complex ideas to internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS Finance) or professional designation (CFA) preferred.
